REX Seneca Lateral

Click to see larger, detailed image The Rockies Express Pipeline ("REX") Seneca Lateral will transport consumer grade Ohio natural gas into various market areas in North America. REX has finalized business arrangements with Mark West Energy Partners and Ohio Gathering Company, LLC. The REX Seneca Lateral will increase energy independence by adding additional natural reserves to the nations energy supply.

The REX Seneca Lateral is a venture of Rockies Express Pipeline LLC.

REX Seneca Pipeline Facts

Pipeline:
  • Approximately 14.3 miles of new construction
  • 24" diameter underground pipeline natural gas pipeline
  • Transporting consumer grade Ohio natural gas
  • Ohio natural gas will be transported to various market areas in North America
  • 100% of the route is co-located with existing energy infrastructure to minimize additional surface disturbance
Ohio Counties along the Route:
  • Noble and Monroe
Above Ground Facilities:
  • A compressor station is proposed along the new construction route.
Route:
  • REX Seneca Lateral will originate near the City of Summerfield, Noble County, Ohio then northeast into Monroe County and terminate at an intersection with the Rockies Express Pipeline in Noble County, Ohio.
Typical Right-of-Way:
  • Construction Right-of-Way..................100 feet
  • Temporary Work Space........................25 feet
  • Permanent Right-of-Way......................75 feet
  • Depth of Cover........................Minimum 3 feet
